I was never really looking on Glenn Beck...

...but I think he is pretty hot! And I love his new single 'Heaven can wait' with Charlotte Gainsbourg! -> click here to listen to it

7 [material] things I love right now

- I was reminded of how much I love
Laura Laine's illustrations a few days ago when I spotted one of her drawings printed on a tank top at H&M.

This is one of my favourites:

- I also love wolf-prints. I bought the 'three wolf moon' t-shirt and a Topman sweater lately:

- I absolutely adore my Doc Marten's! They're perfect for cold and wet winter days as well:

- I think clothes rails are also brilliant. They're useful and a nice room decoration at once. I bought a simple clothes rail today (at Mömax) and I will take it to my room in Vienna tomorrow (I went home over Christmas but I will be celebrating New Year's in Vienna!).
I will post a picture asap!

- I love the vintage rings, necklaces and bracelets that my grandma gives to me every now and again.

- I love my mum's red nail polish and I think I'll have to steal it before I leave tomorrow :)

- I love my black Zara coat with the very big hood! (that nearly got stolen at the hairdresser's today!)

I'm dreaming of studded walls and velvet floors

I found some pics on my netbook in a folder called 'INSPO'...so here's my timeless inspiration:

I love these vintage dresses and lately I bought a nice pale pink dress at h&m that looks a bit like the one in the first pic. :) I'd love to have a mint tutu dress though!

I also love the 'shabby cottage' or french vintage style...all in white and pale pink and mint. Brilliant.

I consider this as my next DIY project. I want to buy some old deer horns at a flea market (I've seen plenty last time I went to a flea market) and paint them....maybe add some lace or ribbon to it :)

Girls

'Girls' (<- click to listen to one of their songs) is the name of a really good band from San Francisco. They will be touring Europe next year and I'm hoping to see one of their concerts then^^
The singer Christopher Owens is well stylish!!!!!!

I bought a pair of Doc Martens and a big hooded coat at Zara yesterday. I wore some ripped tights in blue and black and a simple grey dress with my new loves :) Unfortunately the pic isn't the best...we were at the cinema watching 'All Inclusive'...it's all in all a nice movie ;) xx

Insomnia

It's Monday, 4am and I'm still not in bed!I was experimenting with the blog layout a bit...as you can see it didn't turn out too well :P
I will probably change it tomorrow and go to bed now...I need to buy some hairdye tomorrow as well, and gotta attend Uni in the evening :)
I'm going to say goodbye to my beloved bleach blonde hair but atm I think it's really better to stop the bleaching cos it actually has ruined my hair after a few years xD
This week is going to be good I think.I ordered a new digital camera and I can't wait to dye my hair and take pictures of the result with my new camera.I also need to do an outfit post so badly!Somehow I never took a decent pic of any of my favourite looks...ah well...I hope it's gonna change soon!
I feel like a uber lazy student cos all I can think of is shopping and food and what to buy next ...but I actually did some coursework this weekend and haven't been out for drinks :)
I've got a job interview at h&m on wednesday....I hope I'll get the job to earn a little extra money although I don't really have time for a job ..but we'll see...
xxx

p.s.: I've been watching a lot of 'Gossip Girl' lately and absolutely fell in love with the Birkin Hermes Bag (Serena's mother's got a big collection of them^^)

Mazzy Star

I'm in love with that 90s band and created a grungy polyvore set taking the singer's style as an inspiration.
If I had dark hair I'd love to have a red velvet dress but I think it looks odd with bleached blond hair...:/
You gotta listen to their songs!!!

And through the downcast lashes I see the dull flame of desire

Object of desire:Unfortunately these lovely warm boots cost a fortune...but luckily I found some similar (I'd say even better!) ones for only 15€ :)
Now I'm prepared for cold winter days and rainy autumn afternoons in England as I'm going to Englang for 10 days on Saturday!Yay!

I also found a very nice room in a newly renovated and fully furnished flat in Vienna.I'm moving on the 30th September and will post some pics sooooooon :)

I am back in Germany and it's great!I've got such a lovely life atm.I'm not working, just enjoying the time before it's getting stressful.September will be worst.I have to go to Vienna to find a nice afforable room and enrol at Uni.Then I'm going to visit some friends in England for 10 days and after that I have to move out of my appartement in Germany to Vienna!
I'm not going to LCF although I was offered a place, but I just cannot afford it.Which is a real shame -.-
So...I'm trying to make the best out of life in Vienna ... I know quite a lot of peeps there and hopefully I will meet many more. :)
Maybe I'll meet Eszther from stylorectic there as well xD..or some other bloggers....
btw I received the Topshop giveaway linen bag...it's lovely and I wore it when I was visiting a friend in Vienna last week ;)

Farewell UK!

In 5 days I'll be leaving the UK as I'm finishing my gap year.
I'm going back to germany for the whole of august and then I will hopefully start studying at London College of Fashion in september.I've already got an unconditional offer for a place. :)
Anyway, I'm really sad because I met a lot of great people here and I had an amazing time!

As a little farewell gift I finally ordered the Aaliyah Lace Up Boots from Topshop and my boyfriend gave me a lovely brooch :

I really hope that I can go back to England but I will continue blogging from germany aswell of course! xx

Kate Moss Wavy Bob

Pic via photobucket.com
I've been thinking about dying, cutting or growing my hair a lot in the past weeks. And finally I made a decision: I want my hair to be like Kate's in this pic!
I think my fringe is a bit too short though but as soon as I'm back in germany (my flight is in 9days!!) I'll go to the hairdresser and get a new haircut. My hair will be thankful aswell I reckon (it's properly damaged from bleaching) x)

She's one of my favourite designers although I can't afford any of her garments but they are still very inspiring.
I love her Fall collection and I'm really looking forward to the colder days now!

Open Day at LCF,Oxford Street and Portobello Market

Yesterday I went to an Open Day at London College of Fashion and had a look at this year's graduates' portfolios. It was really interesting and a very friendly course advisor helped me with my application for a loan from germany.I've already got offered a place at Lcf and I am hoping that I will get a loan to study in London!
Anyway, I went shopping in Oxford Street afterwards and spent hours at Topshop. This store is just amazing <3
I also went to Portobello Market, looking for some granny boots and guess what: I found some but not one pair in my size!So unfair -.-

But luckily I had bought these really nice shoes at Topshop already, so I wasn't too disappointed.
I also bought a lovely grey and babypink dress, a plain grey t-shirt (a basic yay!) and a knitted cardigan with some lace and short sleeves.
All in all it was a perfect shopping day in London.(More money to spent would have been appreciated though^^)
Hope you had a lovely weekend as well xx

Fashion Mistake

I just figured out that one of my fashion/shopping mistakes is clearly that I don't buy enough basics.I don't have a single plain long t-shirt.And I'd really much appreciate having one atm. x/
Basics are the foundation of every outfit.
I definitely need more basics!

Granny Boots

I know it's summer and u're supposed to be wearing sandals but I'm really in love with granny boots atm!I'm going to Portobello Market on saturday and hopefully will find some there...otherwise I'll have to order them on Etsy, but most of them aren't my size -.-
I also think they are perfect shoes for fall. ;) xx

I need to take a proper sunbath...

shirt/blous - bershka;hotpant- topshop

Fotos der restlichen Shoppingausbeute (leider aber nichts im Sale gefunden...) gibts spaeter!

49 Days left in England

Then I'll have to say goodbye to my second home -.-
I'm absolutely not looking forward to it but my gap year is going to an end and I'll have to start Uni soon.I'm glad to see my family in Germany again though!
I feel really sad that I didn't take enough care of my blog because there are so many things here in England that inspire me...and so much to blog about!
But I guess I'm just not a blogger (not yet?!) and I'll try to give my best in the next few weeks [promise to myself]
I will also continue this blog when I'm back in Germany or wherever this random life will lead me to :)

How would you combine...

A see-through pale pink (nude) dress/shirt like this:
(bought at Topshop)
It's really see-through when you wear it so I thought about wearing another simple dress under it.Like a long vest top....and maybe some cream tights?Floral cardigan?Ballerinas?Biker boots?Any suggestions?xxx

I had today off (unexpectedly)

So I took some time and ripped/shredded a shirt!
First I tried a mint green t-shirt and i did the back really well but strangely the front didn't work at all!I just couldn't pull the threads out...I had to find another solution, so I just knotted the T in the front.
My second item was a black vest which worked really well and I'm uber happy with the result!
I just have to find the perfect combination now ;)
